Cristiano Ronaldo has praised the Real madrid's team performance against Malaga, which saw the Whites rise to the very top of the Primera Liga table.

Ronaldo scored three and was generally brilliant as Madrid ran riot in a 4-0 victory.

"I am very happy with the three goals but obviously the key was the victory," Ronaldo told the press.

“Some days you give assists and others you score, that is how a team works so I wasn't worried during the period when I wasn't finding the back of the net.

“It was a great game from us and I think it was one of our best. It will be great to reach 100 goals this season but the team is what is important and now we have another important game against Villarreal."
