StoryRonaldo 'A Huge Fan' Of Real Madrid

Real Madrid will be taking part in the Champions League final this year looking to win their 10th trophy in this competition. They already hold the record with nine titles to their name, but this 10th trophy has been elusive for 12 years. However, with the presence of players like Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale, they have been able to reach the final by beating teams like Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich along the way. Ahead of the Champions League final on May 24, Ronaldo has stated that it would be a dream come true if he wants to win the title with Real Madrid.

Ronaldo has made no secret of the fact that he is a huge fan of the club after having grown up in Portugal watching Madrid play with a lot of stars like Luis Figo and Zinedine Zidane. The last trophy for the club in this competition came in 2002. Since then, they have been unable to even get to the final on one occasion. Now, they will be coming up against Atletico Madrid in an all-Spanish affair. Ronaldo has recalled that he is no stranger to winning Champions League medals after having lifted the title when he was at Manchester United.

He has also been a loser in the final on several occasions.
“As a kid I remember watching the big finals and seeing the players lift the Champions League trophy. It's a moment that all Madrid fans dream of, the Décima. We're all really excited, so we have to win. I've changed for the better, or course. I won the Champions League with Manchester United and now this is my fifth season with Real Madrid. I've always dreamed of winning this competition with this club,” said Ronaldo. Real lost the opportunity to win the league title this season.
