StoryCristiano Ronaldo talks about his future with Real Madrid

The 32 year old Portuguese star of Real Madrid, Cristiano Ronaldo recently helped the Spanish club in lifting their 12th UEFA Champions League title after having defeated Juventus with a convincing scoreboard of 4-1.

Cristiano Ronaldo was the top goal-scorer of the European tournament as he scored 12 goals while also being able to appear in the list of top assisters with 6 assists, only Barcelona´s Neymar provided more assists to his teammates with 8.

“I’m very happy being in Spain but obviously I also miss England because you can’t just turn off the memories. 41! I said when I signed my latest contract that it would be my penultimate and that I would play on until I was 41´´

These were the words released by Cristiano Ronaldo as the Portuguese superstar stated that he does miss his days at Manchester United and said that he would like to continue performing with Real Madrid even when he reaches the 41 year old mark.

However, this response actually contradicts something else that C.Ronaldo stated recently as the 2016 FIFA Ballon d´ Or was asked about the possibility of him leaving Real Madrid if an offer in the region of €180 million gets launched and the Portuguese played replied by saying: ´´Nothing is Impossible´´

From the looks of it, C.Ronaldo is actually open to the chance of leaving Real Madrid but only if an astronomically high offer is delivered by a club. Even though the Portuguese footballer has proved his worth at the big stage on countless occasions, €180 million is just way too much money for a player who is 32 years old.

The world of football is unexpected and anything can happen, there are a few clubs with enough deep pockets that can actually offer that amount of money but it might be economically wiser for any club with that budget to build an entire squad filled with young talents instead of splashing it all out in a player who probably only has 5 more seasons in him before hanging up his playing boots.
